The Vice Chancellor’s Cabinet of Student Leaders serves as a trusted group of advisors to the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs, providing student feedback on key campus climate issues, policy changes, or strategic items that leadership requires input on throughout the academic year. The Cabinet is intended to:
- Deepen the university’s partnership with the student body
- Center student voices in institutional decision-making
- Ensure the Division of Student Affairs is able to proactively address emerging student needs before they impact the broader campus community.
The Cabinet is composed of 15-20 student peer leaders representing a diverse range of communities, identities, and departments across the UC Berkeley campus. Cabinet members have the opportunity to engage in direct dialogue with the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and influence key decisions that impact the larger student body on campus.
